🏠 | Scallop Shots


  • Fresh scallops
  • Shredded green onions
  • Sauce
    • 2 tsp minced garlic
    • 2 tsp grated ginger
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/3 cup water


  1. Add sauce ingredients to a small pan over medium-low heat for about 2 minutes (or add to a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds). Set aside to rest 
  2. Add the shredded green onions as the base of either a sauce cup or another container of your choice
  3. Add the scallops on top of the green onions and add a bit of minced garlic
  4. Steam the scallops. We don't have a steamer, so we boiled water in a pot, placed a steamer rack at the bottom of the pot (make sure water does not pass the top of the steamer rack) and placed the scallop containers on top of the rack
  5. Steam for about 2-4 minutes
  6. Remove the scallops cups and drizzle the sauce over and serve
